Jane Ellison invited us to establish a visual identity and street and storefront signage for Balcones Frame Supply when they were moving their studio to Burnet Road. We opted not to rebrand as Burnet Frame Supply (JK!), as their reputation for quality and service was well established, having been in business in Austin since 1982.

Jane wanted something that had a unique and timeless quality, something that felt like it had a history but was contemporary and forward looking.

They had an avid customer base of artists, photographers, interior designers, and art aficinados. Their studio was warm and welcoming, always a hive of activity and robust and meaningful conversation.

You felt like you were among friends, because you were.
